The 2.8 hectares of land surrounding our farm, is a beautiful combination of different purposes. In front of the holiday home, is a field full of freshly mowed grass with in the middle a very old oak.

The farm with its thatched roof and wooden shutters is visible from all angles of the land. The old wooden shed is located next to the forest with its small lane all the way to the pond full of fish.

But the our master piece: the 300 m2 vegetable garden, with a border around it full of plants and flowers.

Everything is planted organically, meaning without sharp etches and build with recycled materials that we found on our property.

The border on the outside of the vegetable garden is named the “food garden”. In between the plants and flowers are tomatoe plants and herbs. Different smells and colours are a fest for eye and nose,

Inside the vegetable garden its even a greater fest. In symetrical blocks, the biological vegetables grow in great numbers. Enough to feed our own family, but also our guests.

Neibours and passing by to fill there baskets with freshly picked vegetables from the bio-shop on the street.

My cousin Ernst Jansen, from Hortucultural Heritage, managed to change our farm land into this amazing garden full of colour, floral scents and insects .

Sometimes guests say the longed for Paradise and they then say they seam to have found it here.

Isn’t that an amazing compliment?
